Urban Harvest extends its Cash for Clunkers Program!
Urban Harvest Corporate office issued a declaration on Monday morning that breathes new life into their popular Cash for Clunkers program. The move extends the “Urban Harvest Cash for Clunkers” program that had burned through its initial budget in its first week. The “Urban Harvest Cash for Clunkers” program offers local shoppers the opportunity to bring an empty wine bottle to Urban Harvest, located at 15 S. Dunton Avenue in Downtown Arlington Heights, and receive $5.00 off their purchase of a new bottle of wine. The program has been extended until August 29th.
"Now, even more consumers will have the chance to take advantage of this program and the Local economy will continue to get a much-needed boost," Mary Ellen Hogan, owner of Urban Harvest stated on Monday morning. In the Urban Harvest Cash for Clunkers program, the store is emulating the US government’s Car Allowance Rebate System (CARS) nicknamed Cash for Clunkers. In addition to the financial parallel, Urban Harvest is recycling all of the empty bottles, continuing the environmental similarities to the government green initiative. Urban Harvest also offers the consumers a “Free Test Drink” each Saturday. Samples of a variety of popular wines are offered to help customers choose their new wine.
Hogan stated “We have limited colors available for this program, Red, White and a few pinks. But all are sure to impress your friends and neighbors, be a wise investment and have a positive impact on the environment”.
