Since 1983 Ciao Bella has been dedicated to creating the finest gelati and sorbetti for the country's most discriminating taste buds.
They began in a kitchen in New York's Little Italy using traditional recipes from Torino along with the culinary inspiration that has become the company's hallmark. Soon chefs from the city's finest restaurants and hotels - Café Des Artists, 21 Club, River Café, the Pierre, to name a few - began requesting the gelati and sorbetti to serve to their patrons. Over the past twenty years Ciao Bella's reputation has grown as they have become America's leading purveyor of artisanal ice creams. Chef Danilo, a native born Italian, possesses an unflinching commitment to quality only matched by his fertile culinary imagination. Each year Danilo creates small batches of hundreds of flavors of gelati and sorbetti using only the best ingredients, many seasonal and sourced from all over the world. Image flavors like Pomegranate, Lychee, Sicilian Limon, Guanabana, Peach Habanero, Zabaione, Fromage Blanc or Chocolate Jalapeno, just to name a few.
