Lesley Elizabeth began in the romantic country kitchen of Lesley (aka Lizzie) on a cold winter’s day in Michigan sixteen years ago.
Lesley had always loved cooking – and enjoying the results – ever since she helped shell peas with her mother as a small child in northern England. Life took her to the South of France, where she fell in love with the flavors and scents of the Mediterranean. A lifetime of travel and exploring new foods honed her skills until demands for recipes by young relatives who just couldn't find the time for elaborate preparations, and the long, winter days of her new home, Michigan, gave her just the inspiration she needed – we’ll do anything for children and grandchildren. And so Lesley/Lizzie started blending the spices and simplifying the recipes for them and, sooner than you could say Pesto Presto!!, a company was born.
