Barefoot Contessa Balsamic Onions

 
BALSAMIC ONION & APPLE PIZZA
1 Pkg Boboli Mini 8" Pizza Crusts

1 Pkg Boursin Raisin-Fig-Nut Cheese

1 Jar B.C. Balsamic Onions

1 Braeburn or Granny Smith apple, peeled and sliced thin

Maytag BlueCheese, crumbled, optional

Candied Walnuts, optional

Spread 1/3 of Bousin Cheese on each pizza crust.  Top with 1/2 jar of onions on each crust,  or to taste.  Arrange apple slices on top and sprinkle remaining Boursin cheese on top.  Sprinkle optional Blue cheese and walnuts as well.  Bake directly on oven rack for 8 - 10 minutes in a preheated 450 degree oven.  Cool slightly,  cut into 8 wedges per pizza and serve warm.

GREEN BEAN & CHERRY TOMATO SALAD
 
1 Bag Microwave Whole Green Beans

1 Pint Cherry or Grape tomatoes, halved

1/3 Jar B.C. Balsamic Onions

1/4 Cup Crumbled Feta, Goat or Blue Cheese

Sea Salt, to taste

Microwave beans in bag for HALF the recommended time. Put beans in colander and rinse in cold water to stop the cooking. Drain well and put in bowl. - Add tomatoes, and onions to taste. Toss.

Season with salt and pepper if desired.  Refrigerate until ready to serve. Top with cheese before serving.

1 Ciabatta Loaf, or other rustic Italian Bread

Prosciutto Slices

Olive Tapenade

Salami, thinly sliced

Roasted Red Bell Peppers

Fresh Basil Leaves

Cappiello Marinated Mozzarella, Sliced

Olive Oil, for drizzling

Marinated Artichokes

B.C.Balsamic Onions

Half bread length-wise. Put on a large piece of parchment paper. Remove and discard center'- doughy portion of loaf. Begin by spreading with the olive tapenade and layer remaining ingredients, ending with the basil leaves on top. Drizzle olive oil on top half of bread and place on sandwich. Wrap securely with parchment paper and place on cutting board. Place one or two bricks, or other heavy object, on top to flatten sandwich for at least one hour.
 
Refrigerate if serving later.
 
To serve, unwrap, slice and enjoy!
