Pine Ridge Chenin Blanc Viognier This clear, almost watery pale wine shows only a faint greenish hue. Delicious grapefruit and melon aromas waft from the glass, dancing with a floral note that likely reflects the Viognier. Crisp and fresh on the palate, juicy fruit and perhaps just a hint of sweetness are nicely balanced by lemon-squirt acidity, leaving a touch of prickly petillance on the tongue. Very refreshing, it could be a classic "summer sipper" served very cold; but there's enough subtlety here to reward letting it warm up a bit so its interesting and complex flavors will show.

Jest Red Giddy pleasure, leaping grace... this red wine, blended from seven noble grape varietals, was crushed by the syrinic hymn of 69 beautiful women, reaching for the high note in the wee light of dawn one misty October day. The nose is deeply perfumed with wild dewberries, Himalayan breeding musk and horehound candy, while the flavors, so titillating they may only be disclosed in the Ecstatic Singing Mantra, will remain cloaked in silence until the bottle is uncorked. Sip delicately, sing with abandon.
Nederburg Lyric Intriguing aromas of apricots and peaches with a bit of tropical fruit. The delicious flavors include the same fruits as in the nose with a fresh acidity that helps make the palate crisp and lively. A real winner !
La Foret Pinot Noir Clear ruby color, on the light side, a shade or two darker than a rosé. Fresh, light red-fruit and dried-cherry aromas add a whiff of brown spices, cinnamon and cloves.
Laurent Perrier Champagne, NV Brut, Demi Sec, Rose, Alexandra and Grand Siecle (5 different kinds) Laurent-Perrier creates pleasurable wines based on solid know-how. It was the first champagne House to introduce a large proportion of Chardonnay – a minority grape in the region – into the blend of its Brut L-P, the true signature of the Laurent-Perrier style. Laurent-Perrier also created other products, such as Cuvée Rosé Brut, a wine with a unique rosé color with the characteristic aromas of red berries, presented in a special bottle. The House has also created Ultra-Brut. It is the natural descendent of the Grand Vin sans sucre (unsweetened wine) of the 19th century that requires the subtle skill of assembling high-quality grapes, since this wine can only be made from very mature grapes with low acid content.
Lois Gruner Veltliner A great Austrian wine at a great price! Fresh apple scents and spiciness lead to exotic fruit and crisp acidity. From the famous Fred Loimer winery in Austria, this dry Qualitatswein is cold fermented in stainless steel and left on the lees for complexity. It's is a refreshing white with character and acidity that make it equally at home as an aperitif or with lighter foods.
Villa Giada Moscato Winemaker Andrea Faccio fashions one of the best Moscatos in the Italian Piedmont at this innovative property, located midway between Asti and Alba. I'm dreaming of Lantern nougat with this fruity bubbly, but since smuggling semifreddo out of restaurants can be a challenge, fruit sorbet will do. We sell a lemon sorbetto inside a hollowed out lemon that would be a particularly delicious and attractive treat with this wine. Moscato should never be "serious," but that does not mean this is a simple wine. Purely enjoyable.
La Famiglia Pinot Noir The Robert Mondavi family has been crafting fine wines from French grape varieties for decades. As early as 1989, inspired by their Italian heritage, the family began experimenting with California-grown Italian varietal wines. The result was La Famiglia, food-friendly wines that interpret their Italian tradition with the ripe fruit expression of California vineyards.
Fauna Sauvignon Blanc This light straw wine presents with aromas of gooseberries, citrus and lime. Lean and refreshing, the straightforward fruit offers lime and light grassy notes.
Dr. Loosen Riesling Dr. L comes exclusively from traditional vineyards with steep slopes and slate soil. This introductory, non-estate wine embodies the elegant and racy style of classic Mosel Riesling. By working closely with growers on long-term contract, brothers Ernst and Thomas Loosen are able to assure excellent quality in every vintage.
Pine Ridge Dijon Clones Chardonnay This unusually complex and balanced wine is produced from grapes grown in our narrowly spaced estate vineyards in the sloping Carneros region. Pine Ridge was one of the first wineries to pair French Dijon Clones with Carneros soils, which in combination with utilizing a system of controlled stress yields intense fruit flavors from smaller berries. The result is a California Chardonnay that is stylistically original, a perfect marriage of both French and California winemaking regions.
St. Antoine Rose Domaine Saint Antoine is located in the hills southeast of the ancient Roman city of Nimes. The appellation of the Costieres de Nimes is considered the western edge of the Rhone Valley. Its growing season and climate are comparable to that found in Chateauneuf du Pape. The estate's vineyards are planted on the rocky soil known as cailloux. Cailloux is a stony limestone soil that was deposited when this area was underneath the Rhone River. It is a magnificent medium for varietals such as Grenache and Syrah. The three wines that are Robert Kacher Selections are all from destemmed fruit that is vinified and aged in stainless steel tanks. Destemming insures that no green tannins will be found in the finished wines. Vinification and aging in tank along with early bottling really focus the primary fruit aromas and flavors that are found in this estate's wines.
Artessa Cabernet Sauvignon Smooth, rich and elegant. This is a supple, deeply flavored, harmonious wine, with focused currant, cassis and blackberry flavors.
